Welcome Spaces are free to attend and everyone is welcome. Some spaces serve hot beverages, have activities and advice on financial support and energy-saving tips. Others offer a friendly face and an opportunity to chat, read, or rest.

Bristol Tea and Tech drop-ins

Bristol Tea and Tech drop-ins are held in community spaces across north Bristol and offer support to older people to develop digital skills and confidence to get connected, and do what matters to them online.

The sessions are suitable for beginners, and those with experience who want to update their skills.

Interfaith Iftar

SGREN (South Gloucester Race Equality Network) would like to invite you to their upcoming Interfaith Iftar, to be held on Saturday, March16th, from 17:00 to 19:30 at The Park Centre in Kingswood.

This special event will bring together individuals from diverse faiths and backgrounds to celebrate Ramadan by observing the breaking of the fast.

PrEP new treatment for protection from HIV

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) pilot is underway in five community pharmacies across south west available. It can be taken to reduce the risk of getting HIV (human immunodeficiency virus)

The PrEP pilot is currently available in the following pharmacies:

Multi-Sport Taster Afternoon

Inclusive Multi-Sport Afternoon for d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent females and non-binary children, young people and adults.

You are invited to join them on Saturday 15th March 2025,12:30 – 3.00pm at Hengrove Leisure Centre for an afternoon of different sports and activities, all delivered by local clubs and organisations. Sign-ups will open soon.
